CD's done died. And you can only fit 77 minutes of music on 'em anyways.
This here is a badass custom-made Mr. Kite USB - with ALL 80 MINUTES of the album on it.
After many hilarious failed attempts working with factory designers, I learnt 3D modelling myself literally specifically to create this object. And I have not used the software since.
It took an absurd amount of effort and back-and-forths with production to bring this magical item into reality.
It's quite embarrassing, but 'concept' - to - 'physical product in my hand' was an 18 month process.
Do I regret it? Hell'naw, I really love these dudes.
Could I have used my time as a human being on earth more efficiently? Mmmmyes, probably.
Now it's up to you to make it worthwhile!
Go ahead and get one before USBs done die too.
~
The USB includes:
-Ultra HQ versions of the songs. (So you can listen to the exact same full quality files that I heard the first time I heard it!)
-MP3s
-Lyric PDFs with hyperlinked explainer notes that take you on a learning journey through all the things I was putting in my mind for the 7 years that I was working on the recordings.
-A secret folder with a secret message (The full $25AUD is worth it just for this).
+ An immediate download of the pre-release tracks,
& a digital download of the album when it drops.
Welcome all, I’m Mr. Kite.
How’ve you all enjoyed the night’s festivities?
The death was an illusion, impossible contusions,
Oh, but what a scene.
For the man y’all saw divided
In a box, now stands before us all.
No mask, no disguise, just you and I.
Celebrate life within death and a dream within
Life, 4 hours straight, wide awake.
You might not understand, but comprehending is
Overrated, at any rate.
And to you, my father assured,
This festival's second to none.
Oh, you'll see how everything shines
With the light of the sun.
With the light of the sun.
Someone light the incense sticks.
I perform my tricks in silence, quiet down.
Concentrate. We'll levitate, so close your eyes.
Let's consecrate the sacred sound.
I bring to you these revelations,
Delirium is guaranteed for all.
And tonight, the collective tops the bill.
La la la la la.
