CD's done died. And you can only fit 77 minutes of music on 'em anyways.
This here is a badass custom-made Mr. Kite USB - with ALL 80 MINUTES of the album on it.
After many hilarious failed attempts working with factory designers, I learnt 3D modelling myself literally specifically to create this object. And I have not used the software since.
It took an absurd amount of effort and back-and-forths with production to bring this magical item into reality.
It's quite embarrassing, but 'concept' - to - 'physical product in my hand' was an 18 month process.
Do I regret it? Hell'naw, I really love these dudes.
Could I have used my time as a human being on earth more efficiently? Mmmmyes, probably.
Now it's up to you to make it worthwhile!
Go ahead and get one before USBs done die too.
~
The USB includes:
-Ultra HQ versions of the songs. (So you can listen to the exact same full quality files that I heard the first time I heard it!)
-MP3s
-Lyric PDFs with hyperlinked explainer notes that take you on a learning journey through all the things I was putting in my mind for the 7 years that I was working on the recordings.
-A secret folder with a secret message (The full $25AUD is worth it just for this).
+ An immediate download of the pre-release tracks,
& a digital download of the album when it drops.
There was no way
To put Him back together again.
Who could say,
Could give away what happened here?
Something about the boundaries changed.
You've lost your face, but it’s ok.
(To come, to go – the flow is the same.)
Fall into wonderland,
Follow Mr. Kite.
Find the ocean in the sand,
Flow with the tide.
(What “glory” means, I know:
In 'absense', we'll only find change.
As summer fades,
Autumn takes its place.)
The lights are dimmed; a marquee dark.
The final act about to start.
Before the stage fills up with life,
A few last words from Mr. Kite:
“You are a wave in the ocean,
An expression of the sea.
You came from your self,
You'll disappear back into me.”
Something about perspective changed:
To exist is to celebrate.
